Piano Lessons

 

​Private individual lessons are offered
For age 5 through adults.

​

​

  • Age: Private individual instruction is offered from age 5 to adult student. 

​

  • Format: One-on-one weekly lessons are offered in 30, 45 or 60 minute durations. 

 

  • Interview/trial lesson: We require a interview/trial lesson to all prospective students to get to know students' personality, goal, interest, and learning style. After meeting with students, we personalize well-balanced lesson plans to each student.

Performance Opportunities

 

  • K-12 student recitals are held twice a year, May and December.

​

  • Adult student studio classes (performance classes)

 

  • Recitals and festivals: Students regularly participate at recitals and festivals by local and State music teachers associations such as Washington Music Teachers Association (WMTA) and  Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association (NVMTA).

​

  • Performance assessments: Students are encouraged to take graded performance examinations of ABRSM, Trinity College London, Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM), and Piano Guild auditions.

 

  • Competitions: Local, state, national, and international competitions are available for students who are interested and qualified.

 

  • Community outreach concerts are available for selected intermediate and advanced students.
